Designed for teens interested in photography and digital filmmaking.
Objective: Discover the world of photography and audiovisual narrative in a playful way. Learn about the process of creating an audiovisual piece from scratch.
Students will learn the fundamentals of Digital and black-and-white photography, build their own pinhole camera, create sun prints (cyanotypes) and use their five senses as inspiration for documenting with their own Smartphones or DSLR cameras.
Develop the capacity to create, from the story’s idea to its completion.
We will create different small pieces with a cinematic narrative and learn group work dynamics.
By the end of the course, students will have developed a portfolio of prints and digital short film. The course will culminate in a final presentation for family and friends.
We will be working inside and outside the studio.
